We only want to play!
Following the Armand/Giuly scandal, we are awaiting a decision from the organizers of the World Cup for the admission of Romania back in the tournament. There was a severe misunderstanding and bad interpretation of rules (that did not exist!) and I think everyone these days has been on Romania's side.

We will continue our World Cup games tonight against Poland who were kind to accept this game. We hope that we will receive a positive decision about our situation and that we can make the match official. Renown linesman Syhl Enzo has offered already to referee the match.

So, we are asking the leadership of the World Cup to solve this impas and grant us re-admission and to delegate a central referee and another linesman for the game.

Romania once again expresses its desire for a fun and fair world cup and stands against cheaters, liars and unflexible characters. Because of this fair play spirit, we accept to give away the first match to Switzerland 0-8, because it was not their fault, but some must understand that a mistake of a player is not a mistake of a team and disqualification should never be an option.
